Our mission
We believe everyone should have access to family building resources.
Franny exists to help people navigate family building with more clarity, confidence, and support. We believe no one should feel alone when exploring options like egg freezing, IVF, artificial insemination, surrogacy, adoption, or other non-traditional paths to building a family.
Our mission is to make family building feel less isolating by bringing together guidance, trusted resources, and community in one place. Franny is designed to meet people with empathy, reduce stigma, and make the path to parenthood easier.
A message from our founder
Hi, I’m Victoria Coker, but my close friends and family call me Vicky. I founded Franny after experiencing my own challenges in starting a family.
For years, my family encouraged me to look into egg freezing. When I turned 35, around the time doctors start labeling pregnancies as “geriatric”, and I was still single, I began exploring my options.
I quickly learned that the cost of egg freezing was comparable to a down payment on a home, amounting to tens of thousands of dollars, and my job at the time did not offer any fertility benefits.
This led me to consider artificial insemination/IUI as a more affordable alternative, but I felt very isolated discussing this with others. There was so much stigma surrounding these topics.

Victoria Coker, Founder of Franny

As I talked to more people about non-traditional ways to build a family, I realized the urgent need for a platform like Franny, where individuals can learn, connect with others, and access resources.
Since 2023, I have been dedicated to creating a supportive space for those who wish to explore family-building options without pressure, as assisted reproductive technology and fertility treatment can often feel isolating.
My goal is to make Franny the supportive space that I always wanted and needed.
Sincerely,
